Easy Returns Policy & Shipping Info
What is your return policy?
You can return any item (apart from earrings, for hygenine reasons) * for any reason, as long as you contact us within 14 days from purchase. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund but we will offer an exchange or credit note for 30 days from the date of purchase. After this date only faulty product can be exchanged. Once you have contacted us you will have a further 14 days to get the item to us. If we receive the item after the 14 day period we will offer an exchange or credit note but not a refund.
To be eligible for an exchange or refund, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You will also need proof of purchase.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Please ensure you check your junk folder as they sometimes make their way in there! We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange/refund.
If you are approved, your exchange will be sent at no cost to you.
Returns can take 7-10 working days to process from the date of receipt to our office.
We have to treat every customer fairly, this means every customer receives exactly the same service every time, without exception. We must stick to the returns policy. We will not refund or exchange outside of the period explained, without exception.
How do I Return My Item?
If you wish to return your item please follow these steps
1. Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your proof of purchase and order number (if applicable)
2. Send your item in its original packaging and condition to: 134 Obelisk Road, Southampton, SO19 9DP, United Kingdom
3. Include a note in your parcel with your name, your order number or the place and date of purchase, your reason for exchange and whether you would like a refund or an exchange/credit note. Please also provide an email address for contact. If you purchased your item in store or at an event please include the date, rough time of purchase and the last 4 digits of the card you purchased on. Please be aware this number might different if you paid via apple pay, please chack the setting on your phone.
4. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange/refund.
5. Returns can take 7-10 working days to process from the date of receipt to our office.
6. We advise that you send your item tracked and keep the tracking number safe, we will not take responsibility for any lost or damaged items that have been sent in the post.
What is your refund policy?
Refunds (if applicable) are offered up to 14 days from the date of receipt of the item, or in the case of a faulty item only, up to 30 days, and only with a proof of purchase.
In both cases we will ask you to return the item for inspection. Please see the section How do I Return My Item? .
If you are approved, then your refund will be given by the same means that it was paid for. Refunds can take 5 to 15 working days to reach you depending on your bank and payment method.
We do not issue refunds for items that were sold with faults that were known of prior to purchase, e.g sale items due to faults. Or on any earrings for hygiene reasons. In this case we will fix the earring. If it is deemed unfixable we may offer a refund, a credit note or an exchange.
After 14 days from purchase we do not offer refunds for products that do not fit, are the wrong colour, or you do not like after purchase. In all of these instances an exchange/credit note will be offered up to 30 days from the date of purchase.
We do not refund Sale Items or, for hygiene reasons, Earrings and Nose Jewellery and Face Masks
My Item is faulty, what can I do?
Faulty items can be returned for refund up to 30 days from receipt of purchase.
However if a fault occurs in the first 6 months, we will happily replace the item or give you a credit note to the value of the proof of purchase.
In the case of a faulty item please note if we feel the damage is due to excessive wear and tear, slip'n'trip damage, spills, clothing that has been caught, mauled by pets, worn while decorating, incorrect washing of the garment or any other issue that has caused the fault to occur where it would not normally occur ,we will not issue a refund.
I have lost/I don’t have a receipt?
In the case of online sales you will have been emailed a receipt – we also have a copy of this which we can find – just contact us.
If an item was purchased using a card – this counts as a proof of purchase – please send a copy of the payment
For items bought without a proof of purchase (e.g. festival or market sales that were purchased with cash.) We document EVERY sale, so just contact us and advise the place, date and rough time of purchase and we will look it up for you.
If you cannot provide and we cannot find a proof of purchase we will not offer a refund but we may still offer a credit note to the current value of the item or an exchange for the same product.
Can I return a sale item?
Only regular priced items may be exchanged or refunded. This unfortunately means sale items cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Do I pay for my return postage?
Unfortunately, as per government guidelines, you will need to pay for the postage to return your item. At the moment we are not in a position where we are able to pay for returns postage. We hope in the future this will change.
We advise you get the parcel tracked as we cannot take responsibility for any lost or damaged items that have been returned by post.
We really are doing our best to make every part of your Tweedy Clothing experience as pleasant as possible, however we are processing such high volumes of orders that the flexibility that we would like to offer you is becoming difficult to provide.
